Located on a 34,300-acre reservoir of the Arkansas River, Lake Dardanelle State Park is a major bass fishing tournament site surrounded by stunning scenic beauty. The lake harbors two park sites offering campsites, launch ramps, pavilions, picnic sites and facilities—one in Russellville and the other in nearby Dardanelle. A 10,527 square foot center also welcomes visitors in Russellville with interpretive exhibits and an aquarium featuring fish from the local waterways.

Bona Dea Park

Day use only park. The nearly six miles of trails that wind through the sanctuary provide a multitude of recreational opportunities including walking, jogging, bicycling, nature photography, and nature study. For detailed description click here.

  • Location: In Russellville on Lakefront Dr.
  • Fees: Day use fee does not apply.
  • Open: Year round.

Cabin Creek Park

Cabin Creek Park is a launch ramp site only. The ramp is open year round.

  • Location 2 miles west of Knoxville.

Cane Creek

  • Campsites: 9 RV/Tent with no hookups
  • Location: 3.5 miles northeast of Scranton on Hwy. 197, then north 2 miles on paved road.
  • Facilities: Vault toilet, boat ramp. User’s fee charged (March-Oct.), closed in winter. Boat ramp open year-round.

Delaware Park

  • Campsites: 13 RV/Tent with no hookups
  • Location: .25 mile east of Delaware on Hwy. 22, then north 2 miles on Hwy. 393.
  • Facilities: Vault toilet, water, boat ramp, overlook, pavilion. User’s fee charged March-October, closed in winter. Boat ramp open year-round.

Dublin Park

  • Campsites: Day Use Only.
  • Location: 7.3 miles east of Scranton on Hwy. 197.
  • Facilities: Vault toilets, water, 1 boat ramp year-round, 15 picnic sites, 1 picnic shelter, & a group shelter – (Open Mar. 1-Oct. 31) Boat launch fee charged year-round. For more inforamtion contact 479.938.7842.

Dwight Mission Park

  • Description: This park is a day use area only.
  • Location: Located on State Hwy 64 West in Russellville.
  • Facilities: 5 picnic sites/1 boat launch ramp.
  • Fees: Day use fee does not apply – open year round.

Horsehead Park

  • Description: This park is a day use area only.
  • Location: 6 miles west of Clarksville on State Hwy 194, then 1 mile south on State Hwy 194 Spur.
  • Facilities: 2 picnic sites, 1 boat launch ramp & a swimming area.

O’Kane Park

  • Description: This park is a day use area only.
  • Location: 6 miles north of Paris on State Hwy 309.
  • Facilities: 5 picnic sites & 1 boat launch ramp.
  • Fees: Day use fee does not apply – open year round.

Old Post Road Park

  • Campsites: 40 RV/Tent with W/E.
  • Location: 1.3 miles west of Hwy. 7 on paved road to Lock and Dam.
  • Facilities: Flush toilets, water, showers, boat ramp, dump station, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, mountain bike trails, baseball field, soccer-football field, pavilions, sand volleyball. Arkansas River Visitor Center open weekends during summer, open Mon.-Fri. rest of year. (Open year-round) User’s fee charged. For more information contact 479.968.7962.

Piney Bay Park

  • Campsites: 90 RV/Tent with W/E.
  • Location: 3 miles west of London on U.S. 64, then 3.5 miles north on Hwy. 359.
  • Facilities: Boat ramps, water, showers, restrooms, swim beach, dump station, 8 picnic sites, amphitheater, pavilion. (Open year-round) User’s fee charged. Boat launch and swim beach fee charged year-round. Picnic shelters availale for rent March 1- October 31. Contact the park office @ 479.885.3029.

Pontoon park

  • Description: Scenically located at the foot of Petit Jean Mountain and offers an excellent launching opportunity for the Petit Jean River. This park is a day use area only.
  • Location: 8 miles south of Dardanelle on State Hwy 7 South, then 9 miles east on State Hwy 154.
  • Facilities: 6 picnic sites and 1 boat launch ramp. Day use fee does not apply. Open year round.

Riverview Park

  • Campsites: 18 RV/Tent with W/E, 14 picnic sites, 1 picnic shelter.
  • Location: .75 mile north of Dardanelle on paved road to Dam. Located immediately below the Dardanelle Dam and Powerhouse.
  • Facilities: Class B Park with vaulted toilets, water, pavilion. (Closed in winter) User’s fee charged: range from $10-$18. Picnic shelter at $35 daily rental. Sites open for camping March 1 – October 31. Campers can utilize the trailer dump station on Old Post Road, located across the river from Riverview.

Shoal Bay Park

  • Campsites: 82 RV/Tent with W/E.
  • Location: 2 miles north of New Blaine on Hwy. 197. Located on the scenic Shoal Bay arm of Lake Dardanelle, offering many more water sports and fishing opportunities.
  • Facilities: Class A Park with flush toilets, water, showers, boat dock and ramp, trailer dump station, group pavilions, swim beach, playground, Bridge Rock Nature Trail, ampatheater. (Open year-round) User’s fee charged. Campsite fees range from $16-$18. Picnic shelters @ $50 daily rental. 2 Boat launches and swim beach fee charged year-round. Spadra Park

  • Campsites: 29 RV/tent with E.
  • Location: 2 miles south of Clarksville on Hwy. 103.
  • Facilities: Class A Park with flush toilets, water, showers, boat dock and ramp, pavilion, trailer dump station, picnic shelter, visitor protection, playground and marina. The marina offers transient slips, pump-out, supplies, boat rentals and guide services. Many opportunities exist here for waterfowl viewing and fishing. (Open year-round) User’s fee charged.  Picnic shelter is avialabe for rent March 1-October 31. Campsite fees range from $16-$18, first come first served. Picnic shelters @ $50 daily. Sweeden Island

Description: Class B Park with a trailer dump station, visitor protection, and 28 sites with water, 22 of which have electricity. A picnic shelter is available for rent March 1 – October 31. It is scenically located on bluffs overlooking the Arkansas River. Many opportunities exists here for waterfowl viewing and fishing.   • Location: 15 miles south of Atkins on State Hwy 105.
  • Facilities: 28 total campsites, 22 campsites with electricity, 1 picnic shelter, 1 boat launching ramp.
  • Fees: Day use fee does not apply. Campsite fees range from $10 -$16. Picnic shelters at $35 daily rental, for rent March 1 – October 31.
  • Open: March 1 – October 31.
